Edward Reis has lead Reis Contracting as Chief Executive Officer since 2008. As CEO he set the company’s core purpose and mission to ensuring the highest possible standards of quality in craftsmanship and service. During Edward’s time as CEO, Reis Contracting has come to represent the very best of builders for commissioned private residences and distinguished itself as a market leader in the application of technology to construction. Today, Reis Contracting has a National and International presence dedicated to servicing our clients wherever they are in the world and in some of the most remote locations. Since 2008, Reis has added new business verticals in construction technology, procurement and logistics for challenging markets such as the Caribbean, and software for project and asset management of high-net-worth individuals and families.
Prior to stepping into his role as CEO, Edward established his skillsets in all facets of the business, working as a cabinet maker in his father’s millwork shop, in the field as a construction superintendent, construction estimator, project manager and senior project manager. Holly-Mae graduated Summa Cum Laude in Sustainable Management, Business & Economics from NYU.

Baltasar has worked for Reis for more than thirty years ascending from carpenter to foreman and Superintendent before becoming a Senior Superintendent. Baltasar has built many of Reis’ more complex projects including multi-floor penthouses with major structural revisions, bracing and restoration programs for facades in landmarked districts and buildings, ground-up townhouses with significant SOE intervention for sub grade construction including underpinning, piles and tiebacks, rock cutting, dewatering, etc. As a Senior Superintendent, Baltasar has overseen and coordinated the highest degree of mechanical systems and finishes from both domestic and international trades partners. Baltasar is often a reference point for the project development team during preconstruction logistics planning and schedule development.

His experiences range from contemporary to traditional with notable projects such as architectural concrete homes in Beverly Park and Malibu, as well as a 10,000 SF clay block historical restoration in Pasadena and a ranch vineyard in Santa Ynez. Steve believes in leading versus pushing a project towards the finish line, using his passion for problem-solving to work collaboratively with the design team to maintain intent and ensure the highest quality.
