Responsibilities:

• Perform general carpentry repairs and maintenance utilizing and operating power and hand tools safely
• Construct various frameworks such as cutting and drilling for structures including walls, ceiling and floors
• Able to calculate precise measurements and complete tasks with mathematic accuracy 
• Understanding and experience with common building materials including various woods, drywall, screws and nails
• Perform physical demands such as lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, operate in a dusty and noisy environment, work on tasks in potentially uneven terrain
• Maintain safe and organized work area, storing materials properly, identifying and removing tripping hazards, and removing all tools and equipment when not in use
• Experienced with baker scaffolding and ladders when needed

Qualifications:

• OSHA 30 certification preferred

• Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
• Collect and dispose of trash
• Perform physical demands such as lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, operate in a dusty and noisy environment, work on tasks in potentially uneven terrain
• Complete work in tight or high spaces such as scaffolding and crawlspaces
• Load and unload materials/deliveries
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and properly stored
• Report issues with equipment and unsafe conditions
• Assist with installation of protection materials
• Assist with erecting of scaffolding and temporary structures
• Provide assistance to carpenters and others as needed

This position will work in partnership with project management and leadership to prepare the job prior to start. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional and team-player with extensive knowledge of the assets, teams and processes involved in executing high-end residential construction. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review the bid documents to establish a thorough understanding of the project scope and requirements
• Interact with Architect/Designer/Owner Rep throughout bid process and generate RFI’s
• Interact with proposed subcontractors throughout bid process
• Prepares in-house scope of work and cost estimates for all trades
• Prepares Request for Proposals for subcontractors on Company bid list
• Arrange site inspection with Architect/Designer and coordinate with subcontractors
• Prepares outline of project schedule
• Qualify subcontractor bids and reconcile with in-house estimate
• Review and confirm that subcontractor bids include the complete scope of work
• Assists with maintenance of Company subcontractor database and historical cost database

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years related work experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel and MS project

Day to Day Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Business Development Activities:

• Scheduling, confirming and follow-ups for all Meetings, events, and contacts.
