Reis hosted its 2nd Annual Spring Loft & Garden Party, bringing together a curated group of industry leaders at 620 Loft & Garden at Rockefeller Center. Set against iconic NYC views, the evening featured craft cocktails and curated bites, creating an atmosphere for meaningful conversation and connection. The event reflects Reis’s continued commitment to fostering relationships within the design and construction community.
Reis, in collaboration with Madera Surfaces, hosted The New Frontier: Growth Across the Mountain West; a panel discussion exploring the opportunities and challenges of delivering high-end projects across this rapidly expanding region.
Moderated by Laney Hensel, Director of Business Development for the Mountain West and Texas at Reis, the conversation brought together an exceptional group of industry leaders shaping this growth: Elise Clark (COO, Alder & Tweed), Tom Spoja (Partner, Backen & Backen), James Robb (Co-Founder, Madera Surfaces), and Scott Marchand (Founder, Arches Design Group).
Drawing on firsthand experience across complex residential projects, the panel explored the realities of building in this unique landscape: from navigating remote sites and complex logistics to meeting the evolving expectations of clients seeking thoughtfully designed homes in extraordinary settings. In fact, the Mountain West was the fastest-growing construction region in 2025, driven by population growth, the migration of high-net-worth buyers, and continued investment in resort communities and infrastructure.
For Reis, our work in the Mountain West represents a natural extension of the work we specialize in: delivering complex, highly detailed private residences in remarkable places. Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a thoughtful discussion, and to the Madera Surfaces team for their beautiful space.
We had the pleasure of hosting an intimate evening at the Guggenheim New York, welcoming several of our industry partners and collaborators for a memorable night of connection and conversation. Guests joined us for a cocktail reception and private dinner, followed by exclusive guided tours of current exhibitions. It was an inspiring gathering that celebrated not only design and craftsmanship, but the shared relationships that continue to shape our work. A very special thank you to our cohosts, Plain English, Precision Stone, Realm, IJ Peiser, and Ferguson, for making the evening possible
Reis proudly co-hosted an event in Lakeside, Montana, alongside Arches Design Group, founder Scott Marchand, Merritt, and Ohara Davies-Gaetano Interiors, bringing together more than 200 top architects, designers, and industry leaders to explore the vision behind Territory 1889, Discovery Land Company’s newest community.
Nestled in the heart of the Mountain West, Territory 1889 will feature a Tom Fazio–designed golf course, a private lake club, and a world-class marina, all envisioned to celebrate the region’s natural beauty and a lifestyle defined by connection, craftsmanship, and design excellence.
The event served as a testament to the power of collaboration across the design and development community. Reis is honored to have partnered with such talented teams in shaping conversations around what’s next for living and design in the Mountain West.
The panelists shared personal stories and powerful perspectives that underscored the importance of women’s leadership on the jobsite and throughout our industry. Reis is proud to take part in events that highlight female voices and support the conversations that move it forward!
